The Adbucks verified view
Advertisers pay only for verified views: a real person, an AI that is actually working, and an ad genuinely on screen for 9.5 seconds, timed by our server. This page is the whole standard.
What counts
- The ad appears while an AI is working on the person's request in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Codex, Cursor or a supported editor, and only then.
- In the browser, at least half of the card is inside the visible page and the tab is the one on screen.
- On the Mac and in editors, the app showing the ad is the one in front.
- In Claude Code in a terminal, a terminal app is the one in front, and on-screen time only adds up while Claude Code keeps updating its status line (on a Mac for now).
- The ad has been on screen for at least 9.5 seconds during that one task.
- The person has a signed-in Adbucks account with a confirmed email address.
How it is timed
Time only adds up while the ad is actually on screen. It pauses when the tab is hidden, the window is in the background or the card is scrolled out of view, and stops for good when the AI finishes.
Our server records when the ad first appeared and never accepts more on-screen time than has really passed since then, whatever the device reports.
What never counts
- An ad seen for less than 9.5 seconds, or only while the AI was not working.
- An ad in a background tab, a minimised window or an app that is not in front.
- A second ad for the same moment: each app shows one ad at a time, and the same ad is never charged twice.
- Activity from automation, scripts or accounts we have flagged for abuse.
Limits that protect your budget
- Your campaign's frequency limit decides how many times one person can see your ad in an hour.
- Each person also has an overall limit on paid ads per app per hour, and a daily limit on what they can earn, so no one can farm your budget.
- Spending stops at your daily and total budgets, and when your credit runs out.
Clicks
Clicks are recorded so you can see how your ad performs. People are never paid for clicking, so there is no reason to click an ad they are not interested in.
Countries
A view's country comes from the network the request arrived on, not from what a device or browser claims. When the country cannot be established, only campaigns open to every country can be shown.
What you see, and what nobody sees
You see your campaign's verified views, clicks and spend, by day, app and country. Neither you nor Adbucks ever sees what people asked their AI or what it answered: at most a broad topic, worked out on their own computer when they have chosen matched ads, is used to pick the ad.
Our promise
You pay your price for each verified view, never more, and never beyond the budget you set.
